Mark Hepner, SRA
Principal
Mark
is a native Oregonian and Portland resident for the past 25 years. He
graduated from the University of Oregon in Business Administration with
major fields of study in Real Estate and Urban Economics, and continues
his education with professional classes and seminars. Mark has over 30
years of appraisal experience and holds the prestigious SRA designation
from the Appraisal Institute. He has been with the firm since 1983 and
co-owner/manager of Portland Residential Appraisals since 1989. Specialties
include complex and high end residential properties, litigation work,
and Central Coast properties. Mark is licensed as a Certified Residential
Appraiser in the State of Oregon and is FHA approved.

Steve Gentzkow, MAI, SRA
Principal
Steve
has been a lifelong resident of the Portland Metro area. He graduated
from Portland State University with a BS degree in Business Administration,
which included classes in Real Estate Law, Principles, Finance, and Appraisal,
as well as continuing education as required for his professional designations
and State licensing. Steve has over 30 years of appraisal experience,
including 5 years as a commercial appraiser, and holds the MAI and SRA
designations from the Appraisal Institute. He has owned and managed Portland Residential Appraisals with Mark since its beginning in 1989. Steve's professional
specialties include high end properties, new construction, appraisal review,
litigation, and North Coast properties. He is licensed as a Certified
General Appraiser and is FHA approved. When not working, he enjoys golf,
fishing, college football and BMW’s.

Mark Davis
Certified Residential Appraiser
Mark joined the firm in October 2010 to head up our Vancouver, Washington branch, Vancouver Residential Appraisals. Mark began appraising in 1987 primarily on commercial appraisal work. He was formerly with the firm PGP Valuations, now Colliers from 1990 to 2010. In the last 15 years he has been specializing in primarily residential properties in Pacific, Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark and Skamania counties of Washington State. Mark attended Portland State University on a foot ball scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree. When not appraising, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and two children on their rural home, fishing, 4 wheeling and playing sports.

Richard Galster
Oregon State Certified Residential Appraiser
Rich has
over 20 years of appraisal experience, as well as over 10 years in the
banking industry in a wholesale, loan origination, and management capacity.
Rich has an Associates Degree in Architecture as well as certificates
in Business Management, Real Estate, Mortgage lending, Management, Marketing
and ongoing Appraisal classes and seminars. He is a past Vice President
of the Oregon Mortgage Bankers Association and was named the Outstanding
Young Mortgage Banker in 1988. Rich's impressive resume does not overshadow
his accomplishments of being a very good appraiser, who serves his clients
well, providing quality appraisal reports in a timely manner. He is FHA certified and has
the knowledge and experience to appraise most all property types. Rich
enjoys his family, friends, and many outdoor activities, with a special
passion for golf.

Kevin Gummer
Assistant to Steve Gentzkow
Kevin is an East Coast transplant and has held several positions in the residential home improvement industry. Before joining the team at Portland Residential Appraisals, Kevin worked for a major solar power provider and with a leading national non-profit focused on improving the environmental health of low income families living in Baltimore, MD. Kevin holds degrees in Geography and Earth Science from Frostburg State University in Western Maryland. When not working, Kevin can be found at a Blazers or Timbers game and enjoys white water rafting, hiking, camping and playing drums.

Betsy Harris
Oregon State Licensed Appraiser
Betsy joined the administrative staff of Portland Residential Appraisals in the summer of 2006. She spent her first year with the company handling numerous and varied tasks throughout the office. In early 2008, Betsy became an Oregon registered Appraiser Assistant. After two years working as an assistant to Mark Hepner, Betsy became a Licensed Appraiser in 2010. Betsy completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design at the same time as her licensure. Among other interests, she is a singer in a local Portland band. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Greg Lamunyan
Assistant to Mark Hepner
Greg has lived in Oregon since 1991 and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Portland State University. He is currently an Oregon registered Appraiser Assistant working under Mark Hepner. Greg has been with Portland Residential since November 2011. When not working he enjoys outdoor activities and traveling.

Steve Lindsey
Oregon State Licensed Appraiser
Steve Lindsey has become recently licensed after working with Steve Gentzkow over the past two years gaining broad experience appraising a variety of properties and learning the intricacies of the appraisal business. Steve has been a life long resident of Portland's east county area, where he currently resides on his small farm. Steve attended Portland State University majoring in education and continues his appraisal education through ongoing seminars and classes. He has 30 years of experience in residential and commercial construction, with the last 20 years as an electrician, a background that is invaluable in the appraisal field. When not working, Steve enjoys spending time with his family, working and hanging out on his small farm, fishing, camping, and being outdoors.

Mark Marcus
Oregon State Certified Residential Appraiser
Mark has been a lifelong resident of the Portland Metro area. He graduated

included emphasis in Finance, Real Estate Law, and International Business,
and continues his appraisal education through ongoing seminars and classes.
Mark is a senior appraiser, has been a licensed appraiser in Oregon since
1988, and has been with Portland Residential Appraisals since 1998. Mark is licensed as a Certified Residential Appraiser in the State of Oregon, is FHA approved and in addition to the Portland Metro Area has extensive experience in both the Willamette Valley and the Oregon Coast. When not working, Mark enjoys numerous and varied
activities.

Ramona T. McAuley
Oregon State Certified Residential Appraiser
Mona has been with Portland Residential Appraisals since 2004. She started her appraisal career in 1991 with Bank of America in California. She is currently a certified residential appraiser in the state of Oregon, and in the past held certified residential licenses in the states of California, Washington and Texas. Mona has the knowledge and experience to appraise most all residential property types. In her free time, Mona enjoys a variety of activities including flyfishing, camping, kayaking, sculling, wine tasting and sailing.

Bruce Morgan
Oregon State Licensed Appraiser
Bruce is a native Oregonian and has a BS from the University of Oregon. He's been married for nearly 30 years to a native of Madrid, Spain and has 2 children (one a graduate of OSU, the other at the U of O), both have recently been granted dual citizenship. Bruce enjoys all sorts of outdoor activities, especially golf, and the beaches of Spain.

Jared Mulvey
Assistant to Mark Davis
Jared moved to Portland in 2009 from Spokane, WA. Jared studied Communication Studies at Washington State University and Eastern Washington University. He began his education towards his real estate appraisal certification in 2008 working for Mulvey Appraisals in Spokane. Before joining Mark Davis at Vancouver Residential Appraisals in July of 2012, Jared spent the past 2 years as a Personal Banker with a national bank in the Portland area. In his free time Jared loves to travel, explore new places, spend time with friends and attends Gonzaga University basketball games and Timbers soccer games. He also loves to make trips back to Spokane to spend time with his family and friends.

Sean Stortzum
Oregon State Certified Residential Appraiser
Sean is a State Certified residential appraiser and has been licensed for 4 years with the Portland staff. He specializes on north coast properties ranging from Tillamook to Astoria and has extensive experience in standard mortgage finance transactions, construction appraisals, complex high value properties, FHA appraisals, vacant land appraisals, and estate valuations. Sean makes weekly trips to the coast and is very familiar with the area. As a result, he can typically return reports in similar time or better than most local coast appraisers. Sean graduated with a Bachelors degree from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. He played on the school's football and track teams, and was a State champion sprinter in Washington. Sean's interests include, travel, sports, Texas Hold-em Poker, and he is a passionate Seattle Seahawks fan.
